“ If you want a real street taco, come here. Anything you get off the menu, is smackin!! Came with the wife for a late night dinner date and Avilas always comes thru. ”
“ Best burrito experience so far tu is 2024! Amazing service, worth the wait. You could taste the love in this breakfast burrito, must come and try! ”
“ I was working in the area and saw this hole in the wall. I decided to give them a try. I scored a parking spot in front so I felt like a Rockstar. Inside is very small with two tables. The man taking orders was really chill and explained that everything is made to order. I saw the lady chopping the bacon for the breakfast burrito. I ordered a couple Burritos to go. Breakfast burrito was good, the balance of ingredients seems to be off. It was decent and the portion was huge. The al pastor was also good although same issue ingredients were not balanced. Salsa was very good and the burritos came with pickled carrots and Jalapenos. If I am in the area and if there is parking I would for sure try them again. ”
“ I was lucky that traffic on the 880 north bound was bad. I was leaving the Business Costco in Hayward and Waze had me head north out of the Costco on Meekland to cut through the neighborhoods to get to the freeway. I was driving down the road and happened to see Avila's Taqueria. I'm always on the hunt for good carnitas and Al pastor street tacos so I flipped a u-turn and pulled into the parking lot at Avila's. This is a review on one item off the menu that I thought was exceptional. I wanted one carnitas and one al pastor taco just to try them. Unfortunately they were out of carnitas so I decided just to get one al pastor taco. The taco come with onions, cilantro and salsa which I usual like just onions and cilantro so I can taste the meat. The taco was very hot temperature wise, the meat very flavorful, the salsa added to the overall flavor and didn't overpower the flavor of the al pastor. The tacos were dipped in a red sauce and then grilled. The combination of all of the ingredients and how they were cooked was perfect. I will definitely stop at Avila's next time through even though it is off the beaten path. Definitely one of the better al pastor tacos I have tried. I hope they have carnitas next time. ”
“ Came for a breakfast burrito with bacon and chorizo. I also liked their Al pastor and lengua taco. The breakfast burrito was MASSIVE lol but 8.5/10. I just wish they didn't overstuff it with potatoes. I could barely taste any egg with it. ”
